Lower School
The main objective of the Lower School is the continued development of all aspects of the child: intellectual, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual growth. Development of a positive self-concept in each child is of primary concern. Basic learning sets clear patterns for future academic growth both in fundamental skills and in more elusive areas of curiosity and motivation. Provisions are made in the program to accommodate varying developmental rates of students. Creative activities in art, dramatics, and music are an important part of the academic program of every lower school child. Specific amounts of time are devoted to physical education, free play, field trips, and other exciting, experiential education opportunities.
