Placing in assessment from left to right were: Garrett Gee, 3rd place Language Arts; Deeya Patel, 1st place Language Arts; Sherafghan Khan, 1st place Science; Tyler Pratt, 6th place Science; and Jonathan Kinnard, 6th place Composition.

UHA’s Advanced Placement Program is Great for a Reason!  The following teachers/staff attended an Advanced Placement workshop in Nashville, Tennessee on Monday, October 13:  Marvin Denison and Eileen White, U.S. History; Ann Noel, Biology; Faye Hendricks, English Language and Composition.  Amy Edmonson attended a week-long workshop in Advanced Placement Calculus during the summer.

Brett Pritchett Nominated for Outstanding American History Teacher

The Colonel John Green Chapter NSDAR has nominated UHA teacher Brett Pritchett for the DAR Outstanding American History Teacher Award. This is a Daughters of the American Revolution contest at both the State and National level. Mr. Pritchett has accepted the nomination and will complete all requirements to be entered in the state contest.
