UHA senior Cora Beth Brown and junior Emily Roberts attended the Broyhill Leadership Conference at Queens University in Charlotte, NC over the summer. The week-long Broyhill Leadership Conference is a unique, life-changing experience for delegates who attend each year.  During the conference, high school students are challenged to learn, develop, and practice leadership skills that they will take with them and use for the rest of their lives.  While the content of what is taught at BLC is serious and challenging, the way in which the various concepts are taught appeals to young people and puts it all on a level they can grasp, personalize, and use to succeed!
