PowerSchool Overview

PowerSchool is a web-based student information system (SIS) from Apple Computers. It simplifies data-driven decision making by providing real-time information to all stakeholders — over the Internet. Administrators get the most accurate information to make more effective decisions. Teachers gain time saving administrative tools, parents gain immediate access to their children’s grades, and students can track their own progress.

How to use PowerSchool

All you have to do is log on using your web browser. New students and second graders should have received a letter early in the school year containing directions and information to create your parent PowerSchool account. After that, all you need to do is click the PowerSchool image above, or the word PowerSchool anywhere on this page. After you enter your user name and password, you will have access to view your child’s grades. You can even view individual assignment scores. For assistance contact Mr. Kendall at jkendall@uha-ky.org.

Having trouble signing in?

Click the link above, or select the “Having trouble signing in?” option under the password entry blank on the normal PowerSchool sign in page.

Can my child’s grade be changed by someone online?

Absolutely NOT! There is no possible way that someone can get in and alter a student’s grades online. All grades are stored on a separate system and backed up each night. This ensures that all grades are unchangeable by anyone other than the teacher, and also insures that a copy of the grades are preserved for historical records.
