On Saturday, December 10th, UHA’s middle school robotics team competed in a regional qualifying tournament for the First Lego League. Teams select a real world problem and propose a creative solution, display teamwork skills, explain the innovative design of their robot, and complete robot missions while working against the clock. UHA’s team, the BlazerBots, won the Robot Design Award and qualified for state competition by finishing in the top 3 out of 12 teams attending.
