During the 2015-16 school year, 85% of UHA’s juniors and seniors enrolled in one or more of the 9 Advanced Placement courses offered (Biology, Chemistry, Calculus, Government & Politics, Language and Composition, Literature and Composition, Psychology, World History and U.S. History). Fifty-two students took a total of 91 AP exams. Advanced Placement exams are scored on a 5 point scale with 3 or better considered qualified to receive college credit. AP teachers attribute student success to smaller class sizes, intense rigor of course material, and strong student work ethic
